Michigan can be overwhelming, and any upperclassman can attest to the confusion of their first few weeks. To simplify the transition and hopefully answer a few questions, we've compiled a few resources that may be useful.

Bus Routes

All things transportation can be found at http://pts.umich.edu. Check out Magic Bus-- it tells you where buses are right now!

North Campus Maps

Maps to various North Campus buildings can be found at http://www.engin.umich.edu/facilities/maps/.

Academics

The CoE Bulletin is a good place to start: http://www.engin.umich.edu/students/bulletin/. Also be sure to work with the EAC, which can advise you on first year requirements and how to declare a major. Their website is http://www.engin.umich.edu/students/advising/.

Co-curricular Activities

A good place to start is with mass meetings. Watch for emails, fliers, bus ads, etc. and attend!

Know Your Dean

A quick profile of Dean Munson can be found here: http://www.eecs.umich.edu/~munson/. A message from Dean Munson can be found here: http://www.engin.umich.edu/admin/dean/index.html. Watch out for UMEC Town Halls and Dean Munson's office hours--these are excellent opportunities to voice your concerns directly to Dean Munson and the administration.
